Do I have to keep my computer on 24 hours on while downloading movies? Is it bad for the system?

yeah doing that should be perfectly fine MG. Cause as long as your virus software is up to date and good you will be fine that way. And on the over heating you will be all good. Cause at work my boss tells me to leave it on and we just turn the monitor off and never turn it completely off ever. And hey knows more than I ever will, heck he has forgotten more than I will ever know lol. Good luck.
