I'm almost positive it's with Billy Bob Thornton. And it's NOT School for Scoundrels. lol. It's the one where he was the (gym?) teacher and when the tortured student grows up, the guy dates his mom. It's fairly recent - like within the year - I just can't remember what it's called! 10pts to the first person who can remind me of the title....
