So What did you think of Harry Potter 5 The Order of The Phoenix?
I went and saw it today, and I while I think it was barely an ok movie, I was sorley disappointed with the changes to the story line that they made, and all the details they left out.. I understand they cannot possible fit all the info from the book into a movie, but they could have made the movie a bit longer. Instead of changing J.K. Rowlings story line and adding things that didnt happen in the book, they should have kept it real. Like when Dolores Umbridge finds them in the D.A. lessons, that never even happened in the book. Or when the The twins decided to leave school and set of the fireworks, it was to create a distractionss so Harry could use her fire to see if Sirius was ok. And when the kids go to the ministry they changed the entire story line. All in all I think for a movie it was ok, but the screen play writer should be fired because the movie and the book were to different storys with a similar ending. Where was the screaming portrait of sirius' mum??

I saw the movie Saturday and even though I enjoyed it, I was very disappointed in certain things. The main thing that disappointed me was how short-lived and un-dramatic Sirius Black's death scene was. It was supposed to be something that truly devastated Harry. No, instead we see Harry crying for an extremely short period of time followed by Bellatrix Lestrange chanting "I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black! Ha ha!" like a deranged little girl making a few people in the theater giggle and completely killing the mood meant to be behind the tragedy.
Also, this was supposed the be the darkest movie thus far. To be honest, Goblet of Fire was darker than this one!
I really didn't like what this director did. It was as if he just wanted to hurry up and get to the point instead of making it an actual story and giving us a little suspicion. I wonder if J.K. Rowling is disappointed in how this one came out in the end...
