Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, what did you think?!
Question:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, what did you think?
(SPOILER ALERT!)
Although I did enjoy the movie quite a bit, I found it to be very disappointing compared to the hype around it. The final battle between the witches and wizards wasn't half of what I thought it would be (or what the people involved in the movie said it would be), and Sirius's death could've been a bit more dramatic instead of cutting straight to Bellatrix Lestrange chanting "I killed Sirius Black! Ha ha!" which made a few people in the theater giggle, completely killing the mood. Everyone kept saying it was the darkest movie yet, but I think Goblet of Fire was darker than Order of the Phoenix! And I'm not even going to begin on how disappointed I am for paying $7.50 for such a short movie!
What did you think about the movie?
Answers:
I just watched it this Saturday, and I was seriously disappointed for the lack of action and lack of description of events (I'm comparing it to the book, which I thoroughly enjoyed). You're right about Sirius's death, it could have been more dramatic than Lestrange singing like a little school girl. I wish someone would've put in more events involving Sirius (especially that fight he had with Snape in the book). I wish they would've shown the part where Snape's underwear was shown, that would have been funny. When the dementors came after Harry, I felt the cooling effect and practically had the blood in the body frozen (that was due to the constant air conditioning in the theatre).
