Dreamgirls (movie)?

Ok, who has seen that movie?

I heard that it was boring and that Beyonce can't really act.

And that girl does act way better than Beyonce and she deserved the Oscar.

Opinions on the movie?

well i saw it yesterday on pay per view. i did too think it was boring. i couldnt figure out the time period either. sometimes it would seem to be 60's or 70's, then 80's and 90's and sometimes modern day. it couldnt keep my attention except on some parts, like when effie left. i tryed to watch it because my mother in law is in love with it, but half way through the movie i picked up the book i have been reading and finished it. i didnt care to much for beyonce's acting or singing. the movie was kinda a let down, especially how much they hyper it up.thank gosh i didnt see it in theatres or i would have walked out or made out =P
Normally i can watch different types of movies and keep my attention, but this one didnt do it for me (my husbands a director for crying out loud) speaking from the directors point it was way to dark half the time, and all you was was glowing orange, red, or blue outfits. and as a photographer the shot setups were horrible. i would give it 2 out of 5 stars. you can check it out yourself, but im not gonna promise you wont be let down, or waist yur money, or get bored and walk out.
