Leaving Las Vegas is the best movie ever?!

Question:

Leaving Las Vegas is the best movie ever?

Have any of you seen this movie? I saw it this weekend On Demand and I have to say it's probably the best I've ever seen.

It's about a severe alchoholic who basically falls in love with a hooker(sounds lame and cliche I know, but I swear it's not). Nic Cage's performance in the movie is superb, and it really hits you deep. I found myself just basically thinking about it afterwards constantly. No movie I've seen was as hard-hitting and heart-breaking as this one was to me I don't think. Amazing movie. Very real. Not a happy fairy-tale ending, hell no realy resolution or anything, just a look at life and a story about a very off-beat relationship and love. Will hit you very deep.

It's a movie of how you can find humor, love, and tragedy in the most unlikely of places. Which is really an interesting thought.

If any of you've seen it, what did you think?

She wasn't talking to the camera. She was likely talking to a psychiatrist or someone like that every time it would go to her talking about certain things that happened between them. That happened a few times in the movie, and the ending was just a part of that. She wasn't talking to the camera though.

You got a thumbs down for mentioning that gay spectacle BrokeButt mountain.

Answers:

BROKE BACK MOUNTAIN!! That one is good because the married guy, cheats on the wife with another guy. They "hookup" every couple years and then the married guy never admits he is gay. The wife did find out the guy was cheating and with another guy because she sees them kiss outside the apartment. Then years later the lover dies beaten up by people on the side of a road.
