Question:

In the movie 1408, is Smamuel L. Jackson's character good or bad?

Answers:

Samuel L. Jackson was a good guy. He tried to warn the writer, John Cusack's character, to stay out of the room; he gave Cusack's character valuable information to help prepare him; and he gave him the alcohol which Mike Enslin used to escape.

I wondered if maybe he was the one that scratched the message on the wall about "burn me alive." I doubt the room did.

At the end, Samuel L. Jackson says "Well done, Mr. Enslin" so he seems happy that John Cusack's character got out. I think that shows he's good.
