John Waters involvement in HAIRSPRAY the movie musical?
i know John Waters is listed as an executive producer on the movie musical Hairspray but how involved was he?
i haven't seen him on any of theose "behind the scenes" specials

I don't imagine he was involved much beyond giving his blessing and collecting his cut - which was probably the level of his involvement in the stage version as well.
