How do i make claymation?

also how do i make them jump ive been watching claymation on youtube and finally decided i want to make claymation

i actually became inspired myself on making claymations from youtube and knoxskorner about 2 months ago and been pretty good at it since.

what a claymation is is a collection of images put in sequence really fast. (like a flip book)

you need
camera (digital)
tripod (if not the imges will not be consistent)
clay (i use playdoh!)
movie editor program (i use windows movie maker)
some kind of mike to record voices and sounds
patience and creativity

first you put your character in front of a set

take a picture

then move the arm, foot, or position, etc. a little bit

and then take another picture.

then repeat the steps until you have a sequence.

after gathering a bunch of pics. put them in the mov maker and set each one to like a tenth of a second each.

add sound if u like.

about the jumping. i guess just take pics of the character on the edge of the camera as you hold it and move it.

my vids are pretty cool according to some people.

im working on my next one thatll be put into 3 parts!
