Movie songs im not sure what they are called?

you know those little clips people make from movies and add songs to them? what are they called? and how does one make one of them? just wondering. Thanks by the way iMovie is not a option. hopefully there are other options though.

im not quite sure what your talking about but i think your talking about windows movie make...people make videos with that all the time and add music to the videos
