Silent Bob is actually Kevin Smith, a director of some note and celebrity amongst fanboys. Jay and Silent Bob are in most of his movies, Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, the short lived Clerks cartoon series, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks 2. They also were on several episodes of DeGrassi High (toned down a bit). Their next sighting will be in Kevin Smith's new moive, Red State
