Good sites that explain the symbolism/metaphors of pans' labyrinth?!

Question:

Good sites that explain the symbolism/metaphors of pans' labyrinth?

I want deep and complete analysis, like the hand-eye monster's relation to catholic church, etc. I would prefer a site with a lot of info rather than multiple smaller ones but any help is appreciated

Answers:

The director, Guillermo Del Toro, asked for "a man that was once very fat, but lost a lot of weight". Once he saw the sculpture, he scetched it and removed the eyes, "it's creepier".

"The original concept came from the Goya painting 'Saturn Devouring His Son' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/saturn_devo... but the bites (when he bites the fairies and the meat stretchs) come from 'Day of the Dead' (another film done by Everett Burrell, of CafeFX)"

It did not mention anything about the Catholic Church.
