Help with 80's Movie Title, Please?!

Help with 80's Movie Title, Please?

Can someone please help me with the name of this film set in Medieval times?

I don't recall the stars or the plot, but I do remember a scene where someone threw rotten meat (or a dead animal) into a well so that the bad guys would all drink the water and get the Plague. I know it's not much to go on, but it is driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also remember there was a blond maiden that the bad guys had kidnapped and she saw the guy put the meat in the well and didn't say anything. I think the bad guys wife and son drank the water and died. I don't remember if any well-known actors starred in this film, so I'm clueless on the title.

The main bad guy looks a lot like Robert Patrick from T2, but I don't think it's him.

...sounds very much like the compelling 1985 medieval drama, "Flesh + Blood"; starring Rutger Hauer, Tom Burlinson (your Robert Patrick look-a-like) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (your kidnapped blonde maiden).

It's been a while since I've seen the film, but as I recall the film took a rather raw, viceral and realistic look at life during this particular time and place.
