ALL Alfred Hitchcock fans out there??????

I am going out of mind here?!?!
I remember reading at school, these books which whose charactors were these three boys, who were friends, who were budding detectives, who went on adventures, and if my memory serves me write they were written by Alfred Hitchcock!!!
Am I write? if anyone know what I am talking about, please tell me the titles of these books.
