Transformers Team Question?!

I thought the oringinal team was Optimus Prime, Red Alert, Hotshot, Jetfire and some others. What ever happend to them?

Hotshot was not the original team, I think your mistaking him for bumblebee. HotShot is fairly new, he's a HotRod wanna be....
