Do you know the name of this 1960's comedy?

I saw this late night only to catch the end of the movie. It involved a funny character resembling Jerry Lewis who was at some guys house that had all the girls coming over to see him. He was in a frenzy trying to woo the girls and trying to avoid them as well too. They were overbearing and trying to win his heart, including the wife of the husband at whose house he was in and out. The end of the movie takes place at the other guys house with his wife wooing him and then another girl who in the end is the one for him and they help him duck and dive to avoid the husband who just arrived. It's a funny movie and it was very whimsical. If anyone knows or or this rings a bell let me know

P.S. I recall that the backdrop of the film towards the end included the house with a very bright green open yard in the back which you can see through the doors of which the characters were in dialogue in front of.

Also, It appeared that all the ladies in the neighborhood who were married were all strangely attracted to this, not so handsome lanky funny looking guy, and all kept coming to that house which did not belong to him.

I guess in the end the husbands took note of how he had his way with ladies..the charm. and it helped the husbands re-light the fire in their relationships with their wives answering to their needs and being there for them to listen...etc etc

I think there was a Jerry Lewis film called, "The Ladies Man"
