Order of the phoenix movie?!

Order of the phoenix movie?

To those who read the book before hand, what do you think about the movie? I understand that for entertainment and financial purposes some things needed to be omitted, but for some reason i think that this movie was really bad. I didn't have any problems with the first 3, the last one left a little bit out but was still decent but i just think the order of the phoenix was butchered. To me it seemed like characters were doing things just to do them since the scenes explaining their actions were omitted. For example harry yelling at his friend in grimmauld place, because the beginning was left out it just seems like he's being an @$$. Is this because i read the other 4 books after watching the movies?

Also in some cases they flat out changed what happened in the book. Harry looked in snapes pensive not his mind (seeing his father torture him) and the prophecy was destroyed before anyone could hear it. In the movie it seems like everyone in the ministry heard it. Finally the battle at the ministry was lame compared to what happened in the book (no statues coming to life no voldemort making dumbledore choosing between killing him and saving harry) oh and i forgot NO FIGHT IN DUMBLEDORE'S OFFICE! Why would dumbledore need to run from fudge and his cronies =(

I just saw the movie today and I didn't think it was all that great. It was okay, but it paled in comparison to the book. I think the problem is (and has always been) that the true Harry Potter fans go into the movie expecting it to be as fantastic as the books, just because we love them so much, only to be disappointed because they fall short of our expectations.
I don't think it has anything to do with the order you watch and read. It's just the rule of thumb that no movie is ever as good as the book it's based on. And with a book as complex as the Order of the Phoenix was, it's not surprising that the film wasn't spectacular.
