Chamber of secrets is more scarier and better than sorcerer's stone...right?

sorcerer's stone and chamber of secrets have 2 scary scenes...in sorcerer's stone when harry goes to the forest and saw voldermort...that was scary in bits and pieces....in chamber of secrets when harry goes to the forest and it has all spiders....that is more scarier....and in sorcerer's stone when harry faced the 2 headed man in the dungeon....that was also not that of scary.....compared to chamber or secrets when harry faces the basilisk...that was even more scarier

I thought "Chamber of Secrets" was a HUGE let-down as a movie. I was not scared by the basilisk, in part because I was laughing so hard at the really BAD dialogue written for that scene:

"Your bird has blinded my basilisk!" Yes, Tom, we can SEE that! You don't need to TELL us. Sigh...

But then, as a 30-year-old, I didn't think EITHER movie was scary, per se. I found them interesting and imaginative (despite some big clunky mistakes in the script of "Chamber of Secrets") and I've seen all five now and plan on seeing the other two.
