I thought it was really good, and people keep saying it's bad because it's not historically accurate, and because there is almost no story.
The producers based the movie on the "300" comic, not the historical fact, so you can't expect it to be accurate. And yeah, there is no story, but ignore that and just enjoy the wild, brutal action . I don't think the producers wanted a deep story.
The action sequences were some of the best I've ever seen, and it was artistic,like how it slowed down during the good parts. And even though it's violent (you see flying heads, arms, legs, blood splattering all over the place) it's not that gory, like guts flying everywhere, and it's not mindless carnage either. It's a great action/epic movie, but I say you should be 16+ to watch.
