I have downloaded the whole package of divx avi player and that but i cnt hear t!

I have downloaded the whole package of divx avi player and that but i cnt hear the sound of movie how do i fix

it has happened twice some movies work some dont
so what shall i do
i got the divx converter
player
and all of it
but there is a error with the codec
and it plays but there is no sound
what shall i do

Go to www.download.com and type in "codec" and then download and install an all in one codec pack. I use the K-Lite Codec Pack 3.01 (Full) and everything works a treat.
