Am I the only one who thinks this Harry Potter-mania is ridiculous?

I mean what is there like 15 movies out now? They gonna keep goin till Harry Potter is 45 years old. I go to the movies for a normal movie, and I see like a 100 people with like families of Harry Potter, fat ugly and thick glasses. I mean when the first book was out I read it, but I was a little kid...I read it once and forgot about it, never seen the movies. But there's like grown-*** men with Harry Potter action figures lmao whats the deal?

I say ANYTHING that gets children to read instead of sitting on their rears playing video games or watching television is a good thing. As far as the adults go (myself included to a much lesser extent than dressing up or action figures) we just like the sense of wonderment from the whole thing. Even if I haven't read the books since I was a teen, I can still enjoy the films. It's fanciful, and even adults need a little fancy from time to time.
