Question:
Have you seen the movie "September 30, 1955"?? Question for you.?
Does the movie have a scene in it with a woman/teen girl in the corner of a candle-lit room, wearing a black flowing dress/gown, standing behind some type of web-like area? Like maybe the web was constructed out of twine or string, something like that.
That's all I can remember, but I know that the scene has stuck with me all these years, and I was so scared to go to bed in my basement room that night. I was crying and didn't want to sleep alone b/c I was really freaked out by that particular scene. It's all I remember of whatever movie it was.
Hopefully someone out there knows what I'm talking about and can help solve "the mystery" of the movie that was probably not appropriate for a kid!

I believe that you are correct. I saw the film about a month or so ago (it has been airing on Sundance recently--if you have the channel you might be able to catch the film again at some point to confirm for yourself). After the death of James Dean, they have a seance/vigil. I believe that it is the character of Billie Jean that is dressed up like that when they are in the house because I recall the scene following where they leave, take the candleabra, and she ends up getting burned in the process.
