Please name this Chinese movie?

The plot centres around a woman who is married to a powerful man who is in an opium induced sort of a "coma". They live in a rural empire in a palace. She is served by her cousin (I think) who is tormented by the senior advisors and servants in the palace. Eventually a ganster/gigolo from the city comes to the palace and seduces the woman and then returns to the city. She follows him having fallen in love but is conned into watching him kill someone by his friends/associates. After she discovers his real lifestyle, she returns to the palace believing that he was just trying to con her although infact he just went back to the city to let his friends know he was leaving the gang for her. He too returns to the palace but she rejects him. He prepares an opium pipe for her with a lethal dosage and immediately leaves for the boat to return to the city. However on the way he becomes very remorseful and runs back to save her but it is too late she is partially braindead from the opium.

I own 94 Chinese movies including this one. It is "Temptress Moon" starring Gong Li (no English name) as the girl who is brain dead at the end, and Cheung Kwok-Wing (Leslie Cheung in English) as the man who does it to her. Mr. Cheung was gay and jumped off a building to his death in 2003 at age 42.
