I just watched saving private ryan...did anyone else get mad about tom hanks character ?

I got mad about him getting killed.I wouldnt finish it...anyone else feel this way?

The whole point of the movie was Tom Hank's character dying so Matt Damon's could live. Without that seen the movie is nothing, but the interaction between Edward Burns and Hanks is what makes the movie, Burns was so good in this movie.
