What is the difference between an advance screening and the actual film?
I've heard that advance previews are shortened down or something, although I don't see why that would be the case.. Only asking because there are advance previews for the Simpsons Movie at my local cinema on Wednesday, not sure whether to go or whether to wait til it is properly released..
Answers:
"Advance screening" just means that you are seeing the (whole) film before its official release. Sometimes these are critics' screenings or special showings for contest winners. Regardless, you would be seeing the complete film.
