Anyone know the name of this film?

It was made around 2002 i think, was about a woman who worked in a motel out in the middle of no where & was prostituting herself to the guests, she ended up going with one guy who invited others & she was abbused & had her throat slit but she managed to escape, there was ascene after that where she was wading through the water to get back to the motel & was found by another woman who worked there. Dunno how much this will help but if anyone knows please tell me. Oh and the womans name in the film was Layla i think. Thanks

I dont think it was identity, wasnt really well known actors in it, i think the actress may have been Molly Parker
