Answers:

Wormtongue kills him by stabbing him in the back when Frodo and CO come and kick him out of Bag End at the end of the book. Right after Wormtongue stabs him, four different hobbit archers shoot him and kill him.

For those who don't know: Sauraman moved into the shire after Isegard was destroyed and destroyed the shire (do you remember the scene in the movie of galadriel's mirror? well that's pretty much what he does). When Frodo and Co get back to the shire, they rouse the hobbits all over the shire, kick the men out and go to kick sauraman out. All the hobbits want to kill him and sauraman does his enchanting voice thing and frodo tells them that they can't kill him because he was once great, one of the wise. "He's of the kind we dare not raise our hand against". Sauraman gets mad, kicks wormtongue, wormtongue finally gets fed up with it and stabs him in the back, the hobbits kill wormtongue and thus ends the battle of bag end 1419.
