What is your opinion on this movie.......do you think it was another movie where they make the previews the funniest out of the whole move?
Answers:
I thought that Kevin James and Adam Sandler did a great job acting together and that there were some pretty funny parts, but I do think that the trailer for this movie is misleading. I was going into the movie expecting it to be a typical Adam Sandler movie - really funny with some good emotional content, but I was disappointed. I felt like the movie tried too hard to send a message about homosexuality. It reminded me of the way "Happy Feet" overdid the environmental message. Both movies were promoted deceptively in their trailers. They set up false expectations. I am by no means against putting moral messages in movies, but it is much more enjoyable to watch a movie that gives a subtle message. I bugs me and offends me when a movie beats a message to death. Movie-makers need to stop assuming that their audiences are too stupid to get subtlety.
