In the Fourth harry potter (and the fith i guess) well where did like cho chang come from? Like is there a reason they put a girl that harry likes in the book and movie. Or is just to add like more I dont know... But ya is there a reason for cho chang?

Well think about it you have the classic Bully, Draco, his sidkicks, Crabe and Goyal, bad teacher, Snape, good teacher, McGonagal, friendly and weird teacher, Hagrid, different principal, Dumbledor and the good friends, Ron and Hermoine so you always need the one that the main person falls for evertime and it could not be the best friend cause that would be weird for that one person.
