Should Emma Thompson have killed Will Ferrell in "Stranger than Fiction"?
As a writer, I'm pretty upset that she didn't go for the best possible book she could have written. As a fan of living (it beats the alternative), I guess it's better for someone to live than die. As an extreme non-fan of most Will Ferrell movies, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

Second, while you are an optomistic writer, Emma Thompson's character was pessimistic - all her novels surrounded death and therefore the one about Harold should have as well
