It's the same in that it's in the same family of woodwind instruments!. Althuogh, it does not actually use wood!. Clarinets use reeds that vibrate and create the sound, recorders work like a flute or in simpler terms, a whistle!. The fingerings are very similar, but the clarinet has mechanical buttons whereas the recorder just has holes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
