The "I'd tell you I love you, but then I would have to kill you" books are pretty good
The "Uglies" series by Scott Westerfeld is good!. But anything by him is pretty good!.
"Lovey Bones" by Alice Sebold is weird, but really good!.
I also like "Eargon"
Tammra Pierce is also great!. Epecially the Lioness books!. But those ones are older!.

"a tree grows in brooklyn"
by Betty Smith

It relates the coming-of-age story of its main character, Francie Nolan, and her Irish-American family struggling against poverty in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City!. The novel is set in the first and second decades of the 20th century

"The Outsiders"
by S!.E Hinton

Hinton was 15 when she began writing the novel and 17 when it was published!. The Outsiders is the lifestory of fourteen-year-old Ponyboy Michael Curtis!. Hinton explores a multitude of themes throughout the story, such as friendship, and coming of age!.They are seen by following two rival groups, the Greasers and the Socs (pronounced "soashes" by the author, short for Socials), who are separated by status!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I liked this one series by Scott Westerfeld, which includes these books:
Uglies
Pretties
Specials
Extras
It's like a futiristic-type novel, and it sort of reminds me of the Giver!. It's about a teenage girl named Tally
I hope you look into it!
