Question: In UK, we can see some people selling magazine on high street, how do we call this people!. !?
I don't think that they are real seller/hawker!.
How much do people pay for these magazines !? Any amount!?
Sometime, these people will carry a dog along and they seems to be quite poor!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
The people you are referring to are in fact perfectly legitimate sellers, and not hawkers!. They are selling the Big Issue, which is a charitable cause and magazine!. The sellers buy it from the company, then sell them on at a profit on the street!.

The sellers are all homeless, and there are conditions on their selling them, which includes not being under the influence of drugs or alcohol whilst they are selling!. They MUST have their badge on display to prove that they are legitmate and have not taken the spot or the papers from someone else!.

The site for the magazine is:- http://www!.bigissue!.com

The big issue is a proper magazine and around £1!.20 (last time I bought one) !. The people selling it are homeless and they get to keep part of what they sell!. So next time buy one, its not a bad magazine and you get to help someone too!.
They should have a licence to sell too, which means they follow the strict big issue guidelines!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

they are called homeless

the magazine they sell is the "big issue", last time i bought 1 it was 1!.20, they keep a pound and the rest goes to the cost of production, it is a charity!.

these people are homeless so they are given a chance to work for a living and hopefully get themselves off the streetsWww@Enter-QA@Com

BIG ISSUE!. Its for homeless people, they pay 70p for the magazine and sell it on for £1!.50!. They are then able to keep all profits!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
