with their magazines like a dew months ago they gave away a Benefit lipgloss worth ￡15 and last week they gave away a Nails Inc nailpolish worth ￡10!.50 why is this!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Magazines sales are, in general, declining so publishers are trying to increase the value of their giveaways to try and get more sales!. More sales means more advertising revenue, and that's what keeps most magazines alive!.
Remember too that although the commercial value of those giveaways seems high, the publisher will have purchased many thousands so will have got a much reduced price from the manufacturer!. And for the manufacturer it also acts as good marketing and may lead to additional sales from someone who tried and liked the free giveaway!.
