Does the new nightwish singer fit the band!? i think it took away the darkness and emotion that it used to have with tarjas voice!.!. now it sounds less like symphonic rock and more like pop rock!.!. its not an insult but thats just how it sounds to me!.!.

My personal opinion, I like both Tarja and Anette!.
Anette may not have an operatic voice but that's ok it's what the band wanted, if you pay attention to direction each of their albums was taking you would notice how the operatic style was being held back more and more!. I mean compare Once to Angels Fall first, that's quite a difference!.
Anette is not perhaps as dark as Tarja but don't you think if they had gotten someone that had Tarja's style she would have been criticize to the core for being a copycat of Tarja even if she wasn't, just for looking like her she would be hated!.
But I think that Anette does fit the band, she brings new life to it and she seems like a really nice down to earth type of person, someone approachable!. And imo she has gotten better at singing live, which I am so happy for her!. And her clothing style is great you never know what to expect :)
No, Tarja is not going back to Nightwish!.
Why!? Because The band wont want her back and she had said that she was going to leave the band anyway, so why would she go back when she has what she wanted!.!.!.!.a solo career!.
And btw Anette isn't really new anymore since she has been in the band for 3 almost 4 years already, which means that people need to get over the "Tarja got fired and there's a new singer in the band" drama!.
I don't think Nightwish sounds like pop rock because in that case pop rock would sound great and would be epic and it wouldn't be so popular!.
Anyway what song have you only heard from the new album!? Bye Bye Beautiful and Amaranth!? Have heard Meadows of Heaven, The Poet and the Pendulum, 7 days to the wolves!?

i kinda like the girl!.!.!.shes a little too peppy yes, but she does have a very good voice and i think the band is able to do a little more with her!. With tarja i thought a lot of the music sounded the same but with the new singer they can go very upbeat or slower!.!.her voice can accomidate any type of music!.!.!.its like britney spears meets metallica!.!.!.except in this case it actually sounds goodWww@Enter-QA@Com
