LOL!. This is an easy one!. I remember we had to do this in every media/health class since middle school!.
Ok, media has a great impact!. Not only on teens, but children, adults, and seniors!. But mostly children and teens!. Think about it, what kinds of people do you see in magazines!? You see beautiful skinny people!. Do they ever put hideous people!? No!.!.!. and when teens/pre-teens see all this crap they're more tempted to BE like that- to BE a size zero and 6ft tall!.!. etc!.
Not just magazines, but television!.
New scene!.!.!. It's noon and you're flipping through channels!. Suddenly a commercial on McDonalds and their fake burgers come on!. You're hungry now!. Suprised!? The way they present the fake burgers make you want to go to McD's!. Or if you're driving around (they release a certain smell into the air that makes you say "I'm thinkin' Harveys" )
There are sooooooooo many ways media affects people!. These are just the basic things!.
