In a magazine/newspaper interview what does [this] mean?!

Question: In a magazine/newspaper interview what does [this] mean!?
Hi,
In a lot of magazine interviews, or newspaper interviews, I see alot of [ ]!.
What do they mean!?
Like:
Interviewer: Are you enjoying working with Brad Pitt on your newest movie!?
Person: Ya, he's really great [to work with]!. He's really funny, and has a great personality!. Angelina [Jolie] stopped by a few times with the kids, and he is really good with them!. He acts all daddy-ish, and [he] is really nurturing!.

LOL I just made up that interview!.
But, ya!. What do the [ ] means!.
BTW, sometimes they are ( ) instead of [ ]!.
Thank you!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Usually the [ ] means that the person writing the article inserted the term inside the brackets so that the sentence would make more sense to the reader!. But be warned if a lot things are said inside of brackets because then the writing could be making it upWww@Enter-QA@Com
