I hit my teens in 79 so pretty much had the whole of the 80's in my ear at sometime!. Certainly the Ska/2Tone scene worked for me when I hit secondary school and Electronica certainly influenced me!. Bands that have remained favourites for me are UB40, The Police and Depeche Mode (I've been to recent gigs for all but 2 in the last couple of years)!. Loved Madness, The Beat, Ultravox, Simple Minds and U2!. God, there's so many! The late 80's was more of a blur for me probably cuz I was more wrapped up in work than I was with music, but there are a few I will remember long after I've posted this!. ;o)Www@Enter-QA@Com
yes in the late 80's!. Gosh I listened to everything from rock to country to rap!. Still like a few of them such as Nelson, AC/DC, Poison, C&C Music Factory!. I still listen to them, I like a lot of todays artists too!.
