Question: Could I still be a model even if!.!.!.!?
I'm allergic to:
1!. Most kinds of makeup
2!. All types of lip products (balm, tint, stick!.!.etc!.)
I've always wanted to become a ramp model!. Not a "picture model" (the ones on billboards) or a commercial model!. Will "ramping" still work for me!? Mom says it won't because no one wants a picky face, and modeling involves LOTS of makeup!.

Yes you can, but it's much harder!. It would be easier if you started off famous, then you (and your face) could be as picky as you want and people would adhere to your demands!. However, the only thing you can do is find out as quickly as possible what you're NOT allergic to, and tell the makeup artists and your agent asap!.
The thing that is difficult with being a runway model is that you're live!. They can't edit your face on a computer when you're right there!.
So with your condition, I would actually recommend commercial modeling, then they can photoshop the makeup onto your face rather than you having to wear it!.
Then, once you're famous, you can transition into runway modeling and demand all the hypo-allergenic stuff you could want!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I work in the industry and i hate to say but probably not!.!.!.even the most gorgeous models need to wear make up especially for runway 'ramp' say the runway is goth style!.!.in fact runway probably requires most make up! I know for a fact the designers and production hosts also will not faff around with some one who has special requests such as non allergic make up! If your not cut for it you cant do it - modeling is a really harsh world! Where they rarely make exceptions, especially if it means more time and money!
also an agency will not usually hire someone who can only do runway and not do shoots!
Still however give it a go as you never no things change!.

sorry but frankly thats very unlikely!. make up artists ib our idustry use all tyes of make up whether you like it or not!. tey will nott listen to you if you want oil free or non comedgenic foundation or orgainic eyeliner or whatever!. no exceptions!. allergies are highly restrictive i know but unfortunately modeling is one career that you cannot participate in because of that!. besides honey you cant just jump into high fashion runways and stumble your way across in 5 inch in heels like that! you have to start out a "picture model" anyway!. this is also catalogue or commercial modeling!. we all had to start from there!. yup ALL of us!. there are only very few exceptions to this rule like kate moss but she isnt allergic to makeup!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
