Question: My iPod touch is installing the 2!.0!.1 update;it is taking a VERY long time to backup the files is this normal!?

Yes it takes a LONG time even if you don't have a lot of stuff on it!. Trust me its worth the wait though!. The bars move slowly don't keep clicking though - it just slows it down :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm having the same problem too, but with my iPhone! And on mine it's not only on the update, it's when I sync, too! You should try calling

Yes, back up takes a long time!.
After 2!.0!.1 Update, my backups are faster!.
Take your time and do not stop your backup, since you may need it to restore your iPhone if update does not go well!.
