I am interested in a career with magazines...?!
Question: I am really interested in starting my own magazine or being an editor of a magazine. I like writing but I don't want to be a writer, I am a very talented photographer and would love to incorporate that. I have many interests and wouldn't mind doing an internship with a magazine to make sure that is what I wanted... What should I major in college and are there any magazine internships you know of for high school students, especially summer ones?

Major in journalism or photograpy photographic journalism. Get a copy of Writers Market and write to all the magazines you would want to work for. Send a SASE so they'll answer.
Also look up internships on the web for magazines. Good luck. We'll be looking for you.
