All the President's men or find the old Lou Grant shows. It was a 70's show about a news paper. It can be down loaded on Amazon or bought on VHS....Wow how 80s!

Lots of Stephen King movies deal with writing (e.g.,The Shining, Misery).
Does she like old movies? "The Front Page" is a classic. And I can't think of the name of the Micheal Keaton/Marisa Tomei one. "The Paper"? Also good. And it's more an 'editor' movie, rather than the 'crusading reporter' theme.
