Question: I'm 18 years old with an IQ of 67- the other day my mother was cleaning my room and found a copy of the New York Times under my mattress.
I'm so embarrassed, she has threatened to disown me. My father will not talk to me. I realize this was a stupid thing to do and regret it tremendously.
Is there anything, anything at all, I can do to regain my parents trust and love?
