How Can I Become a Magazine Model?!
Question: Hi! Im about to be 16...Im 5'3" and Puerto Rican...Ive Always wanted to model but never had the courage to try it out. These past months i have figured that maybe it would be a good idea to model in magazines =] ...so far i have gotten in contact with modellook but i dont know if thats enough...i live in massachusetts (near springfield) can anyone help me?
p.s. i also have a picture of myself..please tell me if you think im MODEL MATERIAL! =]

Hey!, we seem to have the same situation. But I got a boost and I got Through, but I wasn't modeling for magazines. 1st, I would go looking at modeling agencies in the area,send them some pictures of you, (taken in a studio is the most easiest to see your eye color, and they like black and white pictures). You may also want to find yourself a manager to contact you when you have call backs, from when you send in your pictures to the agencies. 2nd, I would in the mean time go to a modeling school. It's fun, but a little costly. Mine is about $600.00 a month (with edicate and poses classes),and $400.00 a week for my runway lessons. I hope I really helped. Good Luck!!!
There's a great modeling school in the Boston area called Barbizon, two of my friends went there and they're modeling for different clothing lines right now. Call them up or take some classes. You'll probably learn a lot! Good luck!
