How best can we tell advertisers we simply don't want the leaflets they stuf!

i hate them leaflets and its awaste of paper but people must bye things from them otherwise the companys wouldnt do it
Stuff the leaflets into their pre-paid envelopes that they bombard us with in the post and send them back to them. Not only will they then have to pay the postage on the envelope, plus the cost of the leaflet and envelope, plus postage in the first place, they will then have to pay someone to open the mail only to reveal it is their own bloody leaflet in the first place :-) 2 postage stamps + envelope+ cost of leaflet+ wages for someone to stuff the envelope+ wages for someone to open the envelope again with their own rubbish in it= pay back!
that really annoys me. but when i get questionnaires through the post i post them back un answered in the pre paid envelope they usually provide
Thats how magazine companies make their money by putting advertisers ads in their magazine.
If the Magazine isn't pre-packed i.e. not got a plastic wrap round it just tip the contents out in the rack or where ever the mag is stored
mag's only stuff the leaflets in because advertisers pay them to go in their mag
I do what 'Jenn' says but I also add stones (weight).
I wish I knew. When I pick up a magazine from the shelf I pick it up in such a way that the loose advertising is left behind. One local store even put a bin by the magazine rack just for the advertising rubbish.
I know. What is the point of it?
I usually leave mine behind on the shop shelves. It annoys me because they go on at us all to recycle yet they don't seem to be doing anything about the biggest culprits. Junk mail and junk leaflets. Grrrrrrrr.
