Marie Claire - they focus more on in depth reporting and their articles are well written and doesn't necessarily lean toward fashion or that entertainment industry.

I'd go for marie claire. I love the fashion in both but I have only ever bought something that I've seen in marie claire. The fashion in Harpers Bazaar is usually a bit too out there (sickly skinny models etc.)
