Why do I need to know about a celebrity's personal life?!
Question: Everyone should keep his private life private and his public life very private. If a celebrity allows his/her private life to become public, it's a sure sign that whatever he/she is doing publicly (art, politics, business) isn't up to snuff and needs a publicity infusion.

Celebrities's personal life should be private as much as possible.
you don't and neither do i, i personally don't care to know about it, and it's none of my business, but for some people it seems like they just have to know every little detail about every star they see on t.v.....i think it comes from a lack of having a life of their own.
well, i don't like reading about celebrities personal life. but i guess people like reading about them is bcoz they wants a role model in life, or maybe they r juz busy body! actually the media keeps on showing this news on celebrities as human, ppl can help them self so they read or watch stuff about them!! or bcoz celebrity like exposing them self to show the world about them to b famous, so we can't blame anyone on this!
thank you ,why can't they just sing or act or whatever ,and do their own dirty laundry? i personally don't care if they are gay or liberal or j.w. or any of that.i used to like george clooney and a lot of others until they showed me how flaky and disconnected they were.
You don't. Not any more than "they" need to know about ours....It's ridiculous that some of these "celebrities" think their words/ opinions should be worshipped, much less acknowledged! I mean, If I got a boob-job and a facial I could "be" one of them... How does that make my opinion/life/ PERSONAL business better than "us" the average JOE, "making it on what we make?"

A celebrity is just person like everyone else: They are just on higher profile. They are not to be put on the pedestal, and they are not to be expected to fulfill higher standards that's set by them.
Then they want to talk about role model. The one REAL being to be role model is JESUS. The rest of us, we are just to follow Him. Even the prophets and apostles were not to be put on pedestals. Only God belongs on the pedestal and HE'S the only true judge. How we judge others that same measure will be used on us by God.
We are not to concern ourselves with their personal life like a lot of people do; we are just to serve God and take care of our own personal business and be kind to our Sisters and Brethrens-In-Christ.
It's so messed up that there's papparrazzi going on. They want photos of someone taking out the garbage.
If everyone just be given a right to their privacy, then the world would be a much less erratic place.
And people need to remember NO MATTER what, we are ALL on the same level in God's eyes. Not one above the other. The ones He finds favor in are on the same level as ones He does not find favor in. He's not putting anyone on the pedestal. And putting someone on the pedestal sets you up for disappointment, and that includes if you put a preacher on a pedestal. Yes, you want the preacher to live a good life, but they sin as well. They're not perfect.
Then it goes back to that "do unto others as you would have them do to you." Do you want others all in your business? Even have your photograph taken while you are having an intimate vacation with someone? If not, then don't do it to them!

I think people want to be a part of that lifestyle even though I don't think many people would want to have the life of a celebrity it is a little scary to say the least. But the lifestyle is very posh or can be plus you get to me the most influential people in the world sometimes. think about the parties and the hobnobbing it would be thrilling and fascinating. I think that is why there is that curiousity about famous people's lives particularly their love lives.
