When you have an online magazine do you need to copyright the name?!

Copyrighting isn't required, but it's a really smart idea. The magazine I work for just had a supplement spin off and we got it copyrighted after we made the announcement so you don't necessarily have to do it before creating content. I'd do it soon though.
