Rolling Stone 40th Anniversary Issue - Interview with Owsley Stanley?!
Question: I have heard from numerous sources that there was a nice article on the King of LSD Owsley "Bear" Stanley in the 40th anniversary issue of Rolling Stone. I have that issue but cannot seem to find that article. Is there some kind of west coast and east coast version of this mag?
Could somebody tell me what page the article on Bear is?

No sorry cannot help you I think you are right about the east and west coast version.
there is an entire article about LSD where he is mentioned, but it is in the 2nd fortieth anniversary edition which came out the third week of july. they did 3 different issues all dedicated to the fortieth anniversary throughout the year, and this was the second issue of the three. hope you can still find a copy!
