Do women prefer to buy Women's Magazines with hot babes on the cover?!
Question: I was at the check-out stand today and noticed a Women's Health magazine. The cover featured a smiling, sexy, bikini-clad hotty instead of a normal person. Is all the talk by women complaining about women being portrayed as sex objects just that-talk?
Do sexy women on covers sell more magazines to women than realistic-looking women?

I don't buy magazines of that nature. I enjoy Discover, Scientific American, Archeology Magazine, and Smithsonian. If I want health information I go to a reliable source on the internet. So to answer your question, no I do not purchase such magazines.
I get Women's Health. The cover doesn't catch me it's the content. They usually put bikini clad models to show case muscle tone. I'd rather see a healthy happy woman on the cover rather than some of the Hollywood pop wrecks out there...
